GROW (Greater Raleigh Outdoors & Wildlife) is a local chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. Our mission is to protect and enhance the natural resources and wildlife habitats for all to enjoy. Piedmont Wildlife Center’s programs explore natural history, survival skills, and aboriginal studies, with a focus on the Piedmont area. These weekend programs are adult-oriented but we welcome people of all ages who have a deep interest in learning.

I'm inspired by walking on Mother Earth. I feel connected to 'all that is'; I feel physiologically balanced by the elements, spiritually nourished and intellectually stimulated. If you enjoy connecting with Mother Earth join up and share your favorite walks on the land. Create a meetup 'walk' on local trails, invite people to join you, and share a tip at the beginning of the walk that you find enhances your connection to the land. That's all there is to it!
